Information regarding 2008 Session
We still have a few spots available for the 2008 session (June 22nd to 25th).  If you'd like to attend,
please mail in an application with full payment. We do not accept credit cards or faxed applications.
Also, the reference to full payment needing to be made by June 1st applies to those campers who sent in a deposit with their application.
When no more spots are available, the website will be updated to prevent applications from being mailed in that can not be accepted.

Full payment is due by June 1st.  A balance reminder as of May 26th was mailed to all campers
registered at that time.  If payment was in the mail on the 26th, please disregard your balance.
Anyone who is not paid in full by June 10th will be contacted, but acknowledgement of final payments
is not made to all campers.  If you do not hear from us on June 10th you can assume that everything
is in order.

The Gus Purcell Quarterback Camp

For over 36 years, the tradition of teaching the many aspects of the quarterback position has continued with the Gus Purcell Quarterback School. With one of the most knowledgeable and experienced staffs in the country, the QB school emphasizes and instructs the essentials of the position: proper footwork, mechanics, throwing motion, and leadership. Each camper is individually assessed by our staff  for the purpose of becoming a more complete quarterback. Three days of on-field drills, combined with a variety of lectures and evening sessions, lead to a greater understanding of what many coaches consider "the most important position
on the field."

QB School Facts & Numbers

3 days. 20 instructors. 150 campers.
A trademark of the camp has been an extremely strong and capable staff. With a look at our former staff members, the Gus Purcell Quarterback School has attracted first-class instructors of the game. Today the camp continues to be defined by the experience and knowledge of its staff. 16 of our instructors played major Division I college football representing the best of the SEC and ACC, including Tennessee, Florida State, UNC, Virginia, Ole Miss, and Clemson. 5 of our staff members played in the National Football League, accounting for 28 years of NFL experience. With the experience of playing the game at its highest levels, instructors can pass down their knowledge of the position to the next generation of quarterbacks.
